Wondering how much it will cost your community to participate in the Water Partnership? The Satellite Environmental Finance Center has developed a "dashboard" to determine the expected monthly per customer cost for participating in the Water Partnership's source water distribution project.
The Dashboard is preloaded with key financial and customer information from the latest engineers' report. Communities can use the interactive features of the calculator to change capital and operational costs; number of customers and customer water use; and reinvestment factors to generate a "bottom line" cost per customer.
The Dashboard includes a special feature which allows each participating community to calculate the new total monthly expenses per customer for the project. Each water system can see what its unique net costs per customer will be by entering current costs and the efficiencies gained through the Partnership project.
